Important information for Japanese customers

1. According to the agreement signed with Parteq Research & Development Innovations, Biosciences Complex Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario, Canada) SOLVO Biotechnology is authorized to use the licensed patent to provide commercial screening services or develop transporter products and to make, have made, import, use and sell transporter products to evaluate the role of multidrug resistance associated proteins 1, 2 and 3 ("MRP1, MRP2, MRP3"), in drug transport and excretion worldwide.

クイーンズ大学（カナダのオンタリオ州キングストン）のバイオサイエンス研究所内のパルテック研究開発部との契約により、ソルボ・バイオテクノロジー社は全世界において、薬物輸送及び薬物排出に関するMRP1, MRP2及びMRP3（マルチドラグ抵抗に関する諸蛋白質）の役割を評価する為のスクリーニング・サービスを提供すること、及びトランスポーター製品を開発すること、ならびにトランスポーター製品を製造・輸入・使用・販売する特許使用権を現在及び過去において保持している。

2. Neither SOLVO Biotechnology nor its clients infringe the Japanese patent No. 3,695858 relating to "Human cMOAT gene and its cDNA". Preparation of the protein using the cDNA or cMOAT gene takes place in Hungary and importing the protein thus prepared into Japan does not infringe the above patent.

ソルボ・バイオテクノロジー社もまたその顧客も、「ヒトのcMOAT遺伝子及びそのcDNA」に関する日本特許3,695,858号を侵害していない。cDNAもしくはcMOATを用いたタンパク製造はハンガリー国において行われ、こうして製造されたタンパク質を日本に輸入することは上記の特許を侵害しない。

Prices and Payment Terms

SOLVO Biotechnology retains the right to change prices without notice. Payments are due within 30 days of the invoicing date. Prices are F.O.B. Budapest, Hungary. Cost of shipment, taxes and import charges are not included in the price quoted.

Shipping

The majority of our products are available in stock for immediate delivery. If an item is not promptly available, SOLVO will inform you about the estimated time for delivery. Most of SOLVO products need to be shipped on dry ice. For these shipments, we regularly work with World Courier and FedEx.

NOTE: We do not routinely ship on dry ice on a day preceding a holiday, a weekend, or other situations where shipping delays (and thawing of the dry ice) might occur.

NOTE: For some corporate users, cDNA usage sublicences might be required from third parties for some ABC transporters in some countries. Although SOLVO very much believes that our customers are not exposed to any risk of patent infringement, this is not a fully clear situation (mainly in the US, where cDNA is patentable).
